Hi to all

Following feed back on the original agenda and a visit to Three Ways Hotel by Tony Beard, there are a couple of changes which I wish to bring to your attention, if you are not on the Forum you will not have received the original message.

Sunday 26th July - Meet and Greet

The 3pm indicated is entirely flexible, a member of the steering group will meet you on arrival. It is anticipated that you will check in and join us in the lounge which has been set aside especially for the reunion party.Tea, coffee and drinks will be available from the hotel staff, this will go onto your room account.

Sunday 26th July - Dinner

A specific dining area has been made available, exclusively for our use throughout our stay. Feel free to dine at a time which suits you, the hotel does have a last orders guideline, so you are advised not to leave it too late. Restaurant times 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

Monday 27th July - Breakfast 7.30 to 9.30

Activities

Tony Mooney has created a display of materials from the 'Locking Archives' as well as 84th Entry photographs and other memorabilia. The hotel has brochures and maps for local places of interest , there is plenty to see and do, a walk might generate a hearty appetite for the dinner this evening! There are many interesting places to visit in this attractive part of England, Chris Armes is sending you a list for your guidance.

Dinner

The timing has been altered slightly after discussion with the hotel management, their advice is based on considerable experience of functions such as ours. We should now meet at 6.30 in the same lounge as used for the Meet the previous day. This will give everyone a chance to have a drink, peruse the menu, give the staff your order and mingle before sitting down at 7.30. The hotel is preparing a special menu for us with an outrageous choice of sweets, it is the 'Pudding Club' after all!

Whereas the 'Dress code' for Sunday is 'Smart Casual' it is hoped that the gentlemen will manage a jacket on Monday evening.

Photographs

You are encouraged to take as many photos as possible, Tony Mooney will be pleased to receive copies by e mail in the fullness of time for our own archive. Les James has very kindly offered to act as 'Happy Snapper in Chief'. After breakfast on Tuesday we hope to be able to get a group photograph.

All that remains is for everyone to arrive safely.
