Equipment

We trained on lots of equipment and worked on a good deal more. Can you remember any of it? I was an Air Radio and I can remember training on TR1985, STR18B, IFF10 and Green Satin. I worked on TR1985/6/7, UHF ARC52, Radio Compass ADF7092D, Orange Putter, Gee, Rebecca 8, IFF Mark 10, Blue Silk, AYF and a Dinghy Transmitter. There were other bits and pieces too but memory eludes me. Here are some photos to whet your appetite.

Colin Hinson of the 89th Entry has some images of equipment which you can see by following these links:

Colin said in his email:

The only person I remember in your entry that has a "now" photo on your site is Danny Boon. Chris Armes was the LA in my billet when we arrived at Locking, and Perce Freeman was next door. "Colonel" Everitt was a CA for the two billets.
